While the marketing and technical requirements of ResterTester are functionally described and demonstrable, it is not yet a product that can be licensed. The plan is to license it's use for a renewable year for $20 for each user. Also, it currently lacks the ability to remember its state if the user switches focus on the device web browser and does not alarm if the focus is not kept. Also, ResterTester needs a way to change the nap time parameter to a value other than 20 minutes. The literature says 5-30 minutes are a good range for the nap to have its positive effect on fatigue in remaining alert on driving trips.

There is more work to do. A question of whether it should be a stand alone device to plug into a car socket for example, or be in-car operating system agnostic or for a mobile phone app. To license its use to individuals on a yearly basis as proposed would require a marketing study.of its viability. Car manufacturers would doubtless create their own versions. For example dress up a phone alarm system snooze button feature where the snooze period is initially randomised. And the time before reset is pressed is recorded and used to control the snooze delay.
